Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, making payment, or using any service provided by Carbana Autos, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Carbana Autos.

Services We Provide

Carbana Autos offers the following services:

  • Daily and multi-day vehicle rentals
  • Monthly / long-term vehicle leasing
  • Airport transfer.
  • Vehicle Sales

Each service may include additional, specific conditions provided at the time of booking.

Booking Policy

A booking is only considered confirmed after payment is received through our approved channels. Payments made to any unauthorized individual or driver are invalid, and Carbana Autos will not be liable for losses associated with such payments.

Standard Rental Duration

  • Daily rentals are based on a 12-hour cycle, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Rentals exceeding this duration will incur overtime charges.
  • Overnight bookings end at a predefined early hour (6:00 AM) regardless of start time.
  • For 24-hour bookings, you will be required to provide accommodation for the driver.

Inspection Policy

Upon receiving a vehicle, you have 1 hour to inspect and confirm its condition. Any issues (mechanical, quality of vehicle) should be reported within this window to request a replacement or refund.

Fuel Policy

For standard daily rentals, Carbana Autos will provide fuel.

For trips out of Lagos, Carbana Autos will provide one full tank of fuel and you will be required to fuel the vehicle through your trip, unless otherwise agreed.

Geographic / Route Limits

  • Standard pricing applies within central Lagos areas. Trips to zones outside these (outskirts) may attract additional route surcharge.
  • Lagos outskirts are defined by the following border areas; Berger, Ojodu Berger, Ajah, Egbeda, Festac, Ketu.
  • For bookings to zones outside central Lagos, please confirm any extra costs during booking.

Drivers

  • For bookings longer than 3 days, the initially assigned driver may be rotated to ensure rest and safety.
  • If a replacement driver is provided, they will be fully qualified and vetted.
  • You will be responsible for the driver’s welfare for trips outside Lagos.
  • Abusive behavior to drivers may lead to immediate termination of service without refund.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellation Notice

  • Cancellation less than 72 hours before booking date are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation more than 72 hours before booking date — 50% refund or 50% credit.
  • All bookings during peak periods (December/January) are strictly non-refundable.
  • Refunds (when applicable) are processed within 5-15 working days.

Rescheduling

  • Clients may reschedule once free of charge, if notified at least 24 hours before pickup.
  • Further rescheduling or late requests may attract a service fee.
  • Rescheduling is subject to vehicle availability.

Lost Items

  • If you leave an item in the vehicle, notify Carbana Autos within 24 hours of the trip.
  • Carbana Autos is not liable for items not reported within that window.

Long-Term / Monthly Leasing

  • Lease contracts are valid exclusively within their stated dates.
  • Unused days cannot be rolled over.
  • Requests to extend the contract are subject to availability and billed at daily/monthly rates.
  • Carbana Autos may reassign drivers during a long-term lease; notice will be given in advance.

Modification of Terms

  • Carbana Autos reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
  • Updates take effect once posted on our website.
  • Clients are encouraged to review this page before each booking.
